Living
History Heritage Day
The annual Town Council heritage event takes place on the second
Saturday in October and over the past eight years has celebrated
the rich history of the town, examining a number of topics. Over
the years the event has depicted Leighton-Linslade in the 1800s,
the 1940s, the 1960s, the Roman era and, most recently, the
Medieval times and has featured live music and dancing, local history
exhibits, food and wine tasting, living history displays,
re-enactment societies and antique and craft displays.
The 2009 Living History Heritage Day will take place on
Saturday, 10th October.
