Canal Festival
Linslade’s popular annual Canal Festival, organised by the Town
Council, takes place each July at Tiddenfoot Waterside Park.
Visitors to the event can look forward to a number of new
attractions as well as established favourites such as narrow and
working boats, arts and rural crafts, live music, Morris dancing
and conservation exhibits.
This a great event held in a
lovely setting among the trees at the edge of the lake in
Tiddenfoot Waterside Park. Stroll through the woods from the
events field off Mentmore Road to the the canal stopping
to admire the rural craft demonstrations and trade stalls along
the way .
In previous years a
temporary bridge was erected over the canal just for the
festival however this year will be the first year that visitors
will be able to take advantage of the new permanent bridge that
has recently been placed over the canal.
